Jeff Marx has written on a variety of topics involving the American Jewish community: the history of cream cheese; the origins of bagels and lox; Jewish homesteading in Kansas; and, most recently, as a life-long comic books fan, the story of Abie the Agent, the first Jewish comic strip in America. A former resident of New York’s Lower East Side, he now resides in Los Angeles.
