Joshua M. Edelglass is the Co-Director of Camp Ramah New England. Josh illustrated Brother’s Keeper (2023), telling a true story from Israel’s 1948 War for Independence, and the graphic novel José and the Pirate Captain Toledano (Kar-Ben,2022), a swashbuckling adventure about Jewish pirates that’s also a story about connecting to one’s Jewish heritage. Both were written by Arnon Shorr. Josh’s illustrations have appeared in a variety of newspapers and magazines, and he illustrated stories for both volumes of The Jewish Comics Anthology, published by Alternate History Comics. Josh’s artwork has appeared in numerous exhibitions, including Pow! Jewish Comics Art and Influence (Brooklyn, 2018), JOMIX — Jewish Comics: Art and Derivation (New York & Philadelphia, 2016); and The Jew as the Other (New York, 2015).
